Since our establishment, we have been hand-dyeing Japanese traditional Homaekake aprons , table centers and other textile products with sulfur dyeing techniques. We use our original fabric made of 100% cotton with Garabou yarn woven into it, and we offer traditional Toyohashi Homaekake aprons that became popular after the war.

History
1945 (Showa 20), the founder Tetsuya Suzuki started working at his family’s dyeing shop and learned the art of dyeing.
1956 (Showa 31), he established “Asahi-ya Dyeing Factory” and began a business of dyeing various items such as Happi coats, flags, and Noren curtains using different dyeing techniques, mainly on sail cloths.
1962 (Showa 37), he created double-dyed aprons with a small pattern in the background and white-out names using sulfur dyeing.
1977 (Showa 52), he installed a silk screen automatic printing machine and launched a pigment multi-color printing business. In the same year, he renamed the company to “Suzuki Nassen”.
2010 (Heisei 22), Ryoji Suzuki took over as the representative. In the same year, some of the factory facilities and equipment were demolished and removed.
From 2010 (Heisei 22) to 2014 (Heisei 26), he refurbished the factory facilities and updated the aging infrastructure. Since then, he has been working to improve the equipment and supplies for technological innovation.
2022 (Reiwa 4), he designed and produced his own original fabric woven with Garabou yarn.
2023 (Reiwa 5), he hand-dyed “local history picture canvas aprons”, “zodiac calendar Homaekake aprons”, and “design pattern hand-dyed fabrics” using his own original fabric.
Drawing on the experience and achievements that he has accumulated so far, he strives to create and provide many excellent products to his customers.
